Astonishing moment irate Spanish father punches comedian in the face on stage for making outrageous ‘sexualised’ joke about his three-month-old son

  • A comedian has been slammed for making inappropriate jokes about three months old

This is the shocking moment a Spanish comedian was attacked mid-show by a father who accused him of making predatory comments about his three-month-old son.

Jaime Caravaca, a Spanish comedian who was in the middle of a monologue during a show in Madrid on Monday night, was suddenly interrupted by an irate father, who walked onto the stage and brutally hit him on the head.

The attacker, identified as Alberto Pugilato, was heard saying: “Those pedophile comments about my son… say them to my face… you piece of trash… now!”

The comments referred to by far-right activist Pugilato were made by hard-left comedian Caravaca on social media the day before.

Pugilato had posted a photo of him and his young son on [your son] being gay’ and that when he’s older he’ll get tired of ‘sucking black d***’.

Days later, Pugilato showed up at the comedian’s show to confront him – as audience members tried to defuse the situation.

‘What did you say, huh? That my son started eating c***? He is three months old. Waste. What now? Say it to my face… say it to my face now.”

An unknown man tries to intervene, to which Pugilato responds, “I’m sorry, I’m sorry, I’m just a father defending his child.” He made sexualizing comments about my three-month-old son.”

He then points at Caravaca and says, “That has consequences,” before calling him a “clown.” He then slaps him in the face again and walks off stage.

Pugilato has since commented eloquently on the attack MultiCanal radio, “I have been very uncomfortable, with a feeling I have never had in my life, very unpleasant and until I have had it before me I have not found peace.”

The video, which appeared on X, has spread like wildfire, with several quick to defend the father. One user said ‘don’t mess with kids’, while another commented: ‘not very funny now, eh?’, referring to the punches the comedian received.

Others defended the comedian’s right to free speech.

Pugilato's motivation for hitting the comedian was related to a comment made by Caravaca the day before on X, after the father posted a photo with his son. In the comments, Caravaca said the baby was gay and that he would get sick from 'sucking black c***'

But at the heart of Monday night’s battle is a culture war.

Pugilato, member of a music band of the same name, is also known for his involvement in far-right movements, according to the Spanish news magazine: El Mundo. He often shares messages against illegal immigration and the LGBT community.

Caravaca is his opposite, known in Spain for his left-wing position and his LGBT activism.

“He (Pugilato) can’t understand that his son could be homosexual,” another X user commented.

After the attack, Pugilato took to X to post a photo of his dinner: a plate of ham and steak, with the caption: “Enjoy a job well done.”
