AT LEAST twelve people are feared dead after masked gunmen fired shots at a concert hall in Moscow, it is reported.

Several armed men in combat fatigues stormed Crocus’ town hall and fired automatic weapons into the crowd, Russian media said.

According to Russian news reports, the attackers also used explosives, causing a massive fire at the concert hall on the western outskirts of Moscow.

A video posted to social media showed huge plumes of black smoke rising above the building.

Russian news agency RIA Novosti reported that at least three people in combat gear fired weapons. The state news agency Tass also reported the shooting.

According to Russian media reports, riot police units were sent to the area while people were evacuated.
