A joker on social media has divided Aussies on his response to an agent after he had heard that he would be fined for Jaywalking.

“You have to produce something ID,” he said. “You have committed a violation.”

Jaywalking is a violation in NSW and pedestrians can get a fine of up to $ 220, which increases to a maximum fine of $ 2,200 if the issue goes to court.
