Ayodhya Pran Pratishtha ceremony: CM Yogi takes stock

Ayodhya: As the cultural city of Ayodhya prepares for the Pran Pratishtha ceremony of Lord Shri Ram Lala at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi, scheduled to take place on January 22, UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has inspected all arrangements around the Ram Temple in Ayodhya. Moreover, CM Yogi Adityanath on Friday said he was satisfied with the planning and implementation of the preparatory work. Addressing a press conference, the CM assured the devotees that all preparations had been made for a smooth and grand ceremony, according to a report by news agency ANI.

CM Yogi Adityanath praised the local administration

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath praised the local administration and ministers for their coordinated efforts in areas such as traffic management, safety and collaboration with the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust. He clarified that even after the ceremony, the trust will have an action plan to facilitate darshan for devotees so that everyone gets a chance to witness the idol.

“The administration at the local level has made all the arrangements, whether it is coordination with the trust at the local level or traffic or security. Preparations for the program of full grandeur and divinity have been completed and are in the final stages. Even after January 22, whatever plan of action is initiated by the Teerth Kshetra Trust for the darshan of the Lord, the devotees who come with full cooperation will receive darshan. Tent City, Dharamshala and hotels have all been built. There will be a better green corridor for commuting from Lucknow, Pyaraj and other places,” said Yogi Adityanath, Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh.

CM Yogi urges people to use authorized modes of transport

CM Yogi also emphasized the importance of better coordination to avoid congestion and inconvenience. He urged people to use authorized modes of transportation instead of walking long distances in the cold.

“My appeal to the audience is that the feelings that are in your mind are the same in your mind. If you have better coordination, there is no problem. People are not allowed to walk. Many people come on foot. There is a severe cold wave going on. Don't make programs without informing.” said UP CM.
Meanwhile, Govind Dev Giri, member of Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teertha Kshetra Trust, said that the 'Netronmelan' (unveiling of Ram Lalla statue) will be done by applying honey on a gold bar.

Shri Ram Lalla's 'Pran Pratishtha' at Ayodhya temple will take place on January 22.
“The basic method of 'netronmelan' is that by applying honey on a gold bar, the eyes are anointed, which is like 'kajal' to the people,” Acharya Giri said while talking to ANI.

Idol of Ram Lalla enshrined in the Grand Temple

“Ram Lalla is enshrined in his great temple. Today the sacred fire will be lit for worship. However, the resolution for the Pran Pratishta was passed on Thursday itself. The resolution was taken with Vedic thoughts by sitting with the block of Vedic scholars. Today the fire will appear,” he added.

Acharya Govind Giri further explained, “After this, the method of worship will become dynamic. In the ancient lore of worship, all gods and goddesses are invoked first and fire is considered the supreme of all these gods. Therefore, offerings are made in the fire in the same manner as when reciting mantras. Sacrifices are made and that sacrifice automatically reaches the God or Goddess. Now that the deity is enshrined, a bandage is placed over the eyes, which will be opened on January 22 after completion of the puja with complete Vedic rituals.”

Meanwhile, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) media in-charge Sharad Sharma shared a glimpse of the Ram Lalla idol, which was installed in the temple's sanctum sanctoram on Thursday. The idol of Lord Ram was placed in the sanctum sanctorum of the temple in Ayodhya on Thursday. Shrouded in a veil, the first photo of the idol was unveiled on Thursday during the installation ceremony in the sanctum sanctorum.

The idol of 'Ram Lalla' was carved by Arun Yogiraj, a famous sculptor from Karnataka. The idol is 51 centimeters tall and weighs 1.5 tons. The idol depicts Lord Ram as a five-year-old child standing on a lotus also made from the same stone. The Pran Pratishta ceremony will be held on January 22 in Ayodhya.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will perform rituals to celebrate the 'Pran Pratishtha'; a team of priests led by Lakshmikant Dixit will conduct the main rituals. Several celebrities and well-known personalities have also been invited to the ceremony.
