I immediately regretted the tattoo I got yesterday and wanted to cry, it’s so ugly
A TATTOO enthusiast shared her latest ink that she immediately regretted.
Although she gave the artist a reference, she couldn’t help but feel bad after receiving “the ugliest banana in the world.”
Marie (@mariearm) shared the bad tattoo in a TikTok video.
“I never immediately regretted getting a tattoo until I got this one yesterday,” she said.
She explained that she had a handful of tattoos, including an old banana tattoo on the side of her index finger.
“It’s completely faded,” she said.
She explained that although she had to get her tattoos redone regularly, the banana tattoo completely faded.
When her boyfriend went out to get a new tattoo, he invited her to come with him.
“My friend told me he had a tattoo appointment and he was getting a tattoo from an artist who is really good,” she said.
Marie decided to go with him to get her banana tattoo repaired.
However, when she arrived, she realized that not only did everyone speak Spanish, but her artist was not the same artist who did her friend’s tattoos.
Despite the language barrier, she didn’t think there would be any problems as she had a reference photo to show him.
“He goes ahead and starts freehand, adds the rest of the banana to what he can already see and sketches it out,” she said.
“I didn’t expect him to print a stencil because you would have to make it perfectly sized, so I’m thinking: freehand, fine, you’re an artist.”
Once the tattoo was done, however, she couldn’t help but get emotional.
“I look at them and try not to cry. I know these are stupid, silly, crazy tattoos, and maybe it doesn’t matter to you what they look like, but I really care,” she says. said.
“I actually loved my original banana and I thought it was cute and you just put the ugliest piece of shit on my body ever that I have to live with.”
When she revealed the tattoo, she couldn’t help but get angry.
“I have the world’s ugliest banana tattoo on my finger. Slay,” she said.
