Barbie director Greta Gerwig and fellow director Noah Baumbach have tied the knot after almost twelve years together.
The filmmaker, 40, and the Oscar nominee, 54, said “I do” at New York City Hall on Tuesday, according Page six.
The couple then celebrated the special occasion by attending Billy Joel’s Madison Square Garden concert. During the show, Gerwig was heard backstage telling people that they had just gotten married.
“They were both glowing and celebrating. They are so happy,” a source who spoke to the publication shared.
The insider added that Gerwig looked “so gorgeous” in a white skirt and jacket. ‘She looked like a bride. He looked handsome in his suit.”

The couple also reportedly told people at City Hall about their wedding before heading to Joel’s show.
The duo started dating in 2011, and before getting engaged in 2020.
She told James Corden at the time that she preferred not to call him her “fiancée” because “it sounds like there’s an upcoming wedding.”
