Most of us have parts of our bodies that we don't like, and many of us choose to hide them.

Like many women, Ariella Nyssa had mottled skin on the tops of her legs.

Rather than let it stop her from enjoying summer, the Australian influencer will regularly don her favorite swimwear as she advocates for body positivity.

Her posts have become an inspiration to others, with Ariella becoming a bestselling author and gaining over 1.7 million fans on Tiktok.

Despite her massive popularity, this hasn't stopped the plus-size model from being the target of cruel trolls on social media.

Things have gotten so bad that the content creator has taken to Instagram and defied the criticism with a recent bikini photo shoot.

Walking to the beach, the influencer looked stunning as she posed for the camera with her long wet hair cascading down her back.

Proudly showing off her cellulite, she wore a stunning sunflower print bikini that accentuated her toned legs and derriere.

Returning to beauty standards, she then wrote: “For many, cellulite does NOT make you less beautiful. Believe me, I've heard it all. 'Grandma legs', 'saggy balls', 'wrinkly and ugly'. I used to let these words touch me.

“I used to try to hide my legs, hide these spots. I heard so many people around me who were on a mission to get rid of their cellulite.”

The model then wondered why people were so desperate to hide their 'imperfect skin', adding: 'I mean, it's the marks on our bodies that indicate growth and life. That I have lived in my body, that I have grown with it. Isn't that beautiful? Is not that great.”

I'm plus size and was shamed at the supermarket for my 'inappropriate outfit', but I had the perfect comeback

She urged others to live despite their insecurities, writing, “Don't be hard on yourself Angel, just LIVE in the body you were given. Because it is so incredibly beautiful.”

Her powerful post was liked 20,000 times by fans, who were impressed by her heartfelt post.

Touchingly, it comes in the wake of the influencer's 'toughest body love year', which saw her struggle with fertility.

Inspired by her most recent post, one fan wrote: “So damn beautiful! Personally, I love cellulite and think it's so cute! They're just connective tissue patterns! Very normal and beautiful.”

“You are a beautiful butterfly shining your light on something so important! Thank you for your courage and inspiration to be the change we seek,” another added.

A third agreed with the model and wondered why women were so concerned about their cellulite and even admitted that they had struggled with the problem themselves.

They wrote: “I have seen overweight people with no cellulite, and skinny people with lots of cellulite. Even after going to the gym and eating better, I lost fat and gained muscle mass, but my cellulite never went away.

“It's so funny to see people equate cellulite with being unhealthy, when there are plenty of female athletes who have it and plenty of overweight women who don't.”

For those nervous about enjoying the beach this summer, we hope Ariella's post has inspired you to wear your bikini.
