Bindi Irwin has reportedly urged her mother Terri to let her brother Robert ‘live his life’ following his split from girlfriend Rorie Buckey.
Robert, 20, and Rorie – the niece of the late Heath Ledger – announced their shock split earlier this month after almost two years of dating.
Following the news, it is claimed that Robert’s older sister Bindi, 25, has urged their mother Terri, 59, to let her brother make his own decisions.
Bindi has reportedly rallied to support her brother as he deals with the breakup on his own, and is said to have an “unbreakable loyalty” to him.
Robert didn’t want Terri involved in his relationship or the breakup with Rorie because he wanted to figure it out for himself. women’s Day.

A source told the publication: ‘Robert has very much become his own person, and although he was always strongly supported by his mother Terri and Bindi, he was adamant to Rorie from the start that he would not be influenced by anyone.
‘Robert didn’t want Terri involved from the start, but not in a bad way – he wanted to find out for himself if Rorie was The One, and has shared with friends that he finally feels like he’s hitting big marks when it comes to to figure out life all by yourself.’
They added: ‘Bindi supported Robert knowing what she went through years earlier when she first dated Chandler and will have told her mother to let him live his life and trust that if he needs them, he will make contact, and that also applies to a relationship breakdown, he has to deal with it in his own way.’
Robert and Rorie confirmed their split in a statement earlier this month.
“We wanted to share that we have decided to go our separate ways, but greatly appreciate the time we have spent together and wish each other all the best for the future,” they wrote.
Bindi is used to romance in the public eye and with a famous family, and is married to American professional wakeboarder Chandler Powell.

The couple met during a chance encounter when Chandler toured the Australia Zoo in Queensland in 2013.
Chandler then wrote to Bindi’s mother Terri to ask her permission to contact Bindi, and they began a long-distance relationship.
In July 2019, Bindi and Chandler announced their engagement and in March 2020 they married in a private ceremony at the Australia Zoo.
The couple share daughter Grace, two, while Chandler is now an Australian resident and works at the family zoo in Queensland.
