A WOMAN with a creative mindset bought a 17 meter trailer with the original intention of using it as a storage space, but now has a new plan.
She revealed that she is turning it into a small house and trading city life for tranquility.
Ella Harmony Woods (@elleharmonywoods) is ready to leave city life behind on her terms and embrace sustainable living.
She told viewers about her future unconventional tiny house in one TikTok video before the family started the renovation.
“Watch us as we convert this 55-foot truck trailer into a house on wheels,” Ella said as she stood outside the large vehicle.
They bought the trailer more than six months ago and planned to use it for storage, but said, “Things have changed.”
“We decided to pursue our dream of moving to a sustainable community, and this will be our home,” she explained.
Ella gave an extensive tour and showed where the rooms would be and the associated doors.
As she walked up the main stairs, she said this would be the door that would be used most often.
Once the camera turned in, it was filled with various things, which makes sense considering how it was used as a storage space.
There were shelves filled from floor to ceiling with boxes, paperwork and other personal belongings.
“This whole back half of the trailer is going to be loaded up with our stuff to drive across the country,” she explained.
Ella and her family plan to drive the trailer across the country while turning it into their living space.
She also looked through a messy room that 'believe it or not' was the kitchen.
Finally, she showed a corner in the back that already had a wall in it and had a door-sized hole cut out that would become the bedroom.
On her TikTok channel, Ella will continue to post their progress on the DIY project as they navigate life on the rural farm.
“We can't wait to show you the beautiful country!” she wrote in the video's caption.
