British F1 driver Lando Norris is the victim of an ‘expensive’ robbery at the Marbella villa

Lando Norris has revealed he was robbed while on holiday in Marbella – two years after his £144,000 watch was stolen at Wembley.

The British F1 star was spending time in a luxury villa when the robbers struck, although he was not in the building at the time.

Social media influencer Jennie Dimova was on holiday with the 23-year-old and has since spoken about the incident online. And speaking ahead of Sunday’s Austrian Grand Prix, Norris revealed: “We were out for dinner and our house was being robbed.

“A hodgepodge of many things have been stolen. Some were expensive and some were not so expensive. It’s still an ongoing investigation, so I can’t say too much.’

Norris was ‘shocked’ after his Richard Mille watch was stolen as he left the hooligan hit 2020 European Championship final between Italy and England in 2021.

In a video shared on TikTok on Sunday evening, Dimova – who is believed to be in a relationship with Norris’ close friend and fellow driver Max Fewtrell – appeared visibly distraught at the turn of events.

“If you’re wondering why I look like this, it’s because our villa was robbed,” Dimova told the camera. “And everything I’ve ever had: my bags, my clothes, my shoes, my jewellery, everything has been fucking taken away.

‘I literally have nothing left after collecting this stuff for ****** years. So you know what? I mean, I cried for about two hours, but what the hell can I do?’

Two years earlier, Norris was the victim of a violent robbery committed by two thieves after the driver saw England lose to Italy on penalties in the European Championship final.

Norris was held in a lock by an unknown man while another robber ripped the timepiece – one of only five in the world – from his wrist as the driver walked to his car in the yellow VIP car park at Wembley Stadium.

A man accused of being involved in the robbery, Liam Williams, 25, of Bootle, Merseyside, was acquitted of the robbery after a week-long trial at Harrow Crown Court in March 2023.

Williams – whose DNA was found on the driver’s left wrist – denied the charges and was found not guilty after two hours of deliberation by a jury.

He said at the trial that he had been shown the stolen watch in a pub, where he had seen the finale after failing to get hold of a ticket but having no idea where those showing it to him had found it.

McLaren is currently fifth in the constructors’ standings, more than 20 points behind Alpine

Williams later claimed he received threatening phone calls warning him to keep quiet about the watch.

The driver had hoped the weekend break was a break from a difficult season.

He has had a disappointing year for McLaren, scoring just 12 points from eight races, but will be upgraded in Spielberg.

Norris finished outside the points last race weekend in Montreal, shortly after a mediocre 17th place in Barcelona in early June.
