Brooklyn Beckham hits back at troll who accused him of 'changing his career again' to personal trainer as he mocks dad David with gym clip

Brooklyn Beckham has hit back at an internet troll who accused him of turning his career back into a personal trainer after sharing a workout video on Instagram.

The aspiring chef, 24, poked fun at his dad David as he worked out at the gym with his younger brother Cruz.

Brooklyn shared a video of him and Cruz, 18, doing dumbbell push-ups with the caption: “1001, 1002, 1003” and tagged his famous dad, 48.

The video was a response to a clip David had shared hours earlier of himself doing push-ups with the caption: “998, 999, 1000.”

David appreciated the joke when he said: 'Looking good guys @brooklynpeltzbeckham @cruzbeckham ❤️❤️'.

Brooklyn hit back at a troll in the comments for making another career change, writing: 'Yes mate @yzy.yyz I'm a personal trainer now :)'.

Brooklyn has joked about his career changes in the past, having started out as an aspiring photographer before trying to become a chef.

In 2017, the then-aspiring photographer released a book titled What I See. In 2020, he also reportedly signed a contract with a major modeling agency after receiving criticism for his photography.

His cooking also faced a lot of criticism from fans, who called him 'out of touch' due to the use of expensive products.

Brooklyn often shares videos on social media of how to make his recipes and was recently called out for using a £300 cut of beef, alongside black truffle – which is notoriously expensive.

When asked if he gets the cost of living award, many fans criticized the self-proclaimed chef in the comments section of his video.

While he was criticized again last month when he tried to make fettuccine Alfredo while promoting a milk brand.

Many were quick to point out that he had used spaghetti instead of the more traditional fettuccine pasta and made a béchamel sauce instead of an Alfredo sauce.

Béchamel sauce is a simple recipe, made from flour, milk and butter. Alfredo sauce is much richer – and made with heavy cream, butter, garlic, fresh parsley and parmesan cheese.

Others highlighted that he didn't even season the dish – as one joked in the comments that 'inflation affects everyone' while leaving out key ingredients.

David uploaded his push-ups video after Brookly shared an insight into his gym routine as he did a series of chest flyes with his personal trainer Chase Weber.

The footballer, who often roasts his sons on social media, grinned cheekily at the camera as he pressed dumbbells.

Brooklyn is now trying to launch his own 'Brand Beckham' to escape the success of his famous parents.

The Instagram chief is in the advanced stages of planning the launch of his own company – called Cloud 23, after the number 23 shirt David wore at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy.

Brooklyn has founded a Californian company called Peltz Beckham – the mixed family name he adopted last year after marrying model Nicola Peltz.

Attorneys at Peltz Beckham LLC have filed with the US Patents Office for a slew of trademarks for Cloud 23 covering everything from kitchen knives and cutlery to hats, T-shirts and sweatshirts, as well as sauces, alcohol (including spirits and beer), and non -fungible tokens… and many more in between.

Sources say Brooklyn's father-in-law, Nelson Peltz, who recently announced plans to nominate himself to the Disney board, has advised him in building his empire.

In April last year, Brooklyn joked about his failed football career when he shared an on-field video on Instagram.

The self-taught chef failed to secure an Arsenal Football Club Academy scholarship at the age of 15 and instead took up photography as his new career path.
