Earlier on Saturday, two groups from the same political parties indulged in violence in which a BRS MLA Guvvala Balaraju sustained injuries and was hospitalized along with others in Hyderabad.

Saturday’s incident took place around 11 pm in Achampet town of Nagarkurnool district.

“Congress leaders suspected that the MLA was distributing money to voters. This led to an argument. Chaos soon ensued, leading to clashes. Some Congress leaders tried to attack the MLA,” said Anudeep, the circle inspector of Achampet.
