Fans of Cadbury mini eggs will soon be able to get their favorite Easter chocolate in biscuit form from next month.

A post on the Snack News and Reviews Facebook group said the cookies “made their way into Tesco, Asda and Morrisons from February 12”.

The post quickly racked up nearly 1.5,000 comments from eager fans wanting to get their hands on the new cookies.

One said: “OMG I need them all.”

Another said: “I know someone who will love these.”

While a third said: “My prayers have been answered.”

We couldn't find any other information about the Mini Eggs cookies online, but we've reached out to Cadbury's for comment.

An Asda spokesperson has confirmed that the biscuits will appear in stores on February 12.

Meanwhile, supermarket shelves have been filled with Easter eggs and Easter chocolate in recent weeks.

Last week, Cadbury fans were once again treated to something new in the form of a large Creme Egg Easter egg, but with a new twist.

Asda shoppers are also rushing to buy an Easter egg based on an iconic flavour.

A limited edition chocolate bar has also been spotted on Poundland shelves this year – and it's laced with an Easter favourite.

However, not all the recent news from Cadbury's headquarters has been good.

A fan recently asked the chocolate giant if he had any plans to bring back the Spira bar, which is a retro favorite among many.

Cadbury told X (formerly Twitter) that it had “no plans” to bring back the Spira.

The news came as a bitter disappointment to many lovers of the chocolate bar that was discontinued in 2005.

The classic bar was first made available to Brits in the North West and South West of England, but quickly became a hit in stores across the UK in 1989.

Unfortunately, its popularity became its downfall and it was discontinued as Cadbury could no longer meet demand.

The iconic chocolatier recently unveiled a huge change to its Dairy Milk bars.

To mark its 200th anniversary, the brand is bringing back seven iconic Dairy Milk designs from the past 100 years.
