Queen Camilla admired a painting of Princess Charlotte today when she visited an art gallery in London.

The 76-year-old queen visited an artist collective in Shepherd's Bush after her daughter, art curator Laura Lopes, told her about the talent on display.

Dressed in a navy blue A-line dress and black heeled boots, the royal family braved the rainy weather as they chatted with artists and curators.

Camilla marveled at the installations, which included stuffed mice and intricately embroidered textiles.

Chatting to the artists after touring the exhibition, Camilla praised the talent and said she was 'very jealous' of their talent, before one artist cheekily gave the Queen her card in case she 'wanted private lessons'.

It comes amid reports that her husband King Charles currently receives more cancer therapy after his first public appearance at Sandringham on Sunday.

The 75-year-old monarch landed in the royal helicopter at Clarendon House yesterday after spending a week in Norfolk resting following the shock announcement.

Camilla kept calm and carried on, admiring an intricate drawing of Princess Charlotte today.

In the portrait, the princess wore a blue and white checked print blouse under a cream-colored wool cardigan, while her hair was decorated with a navy blue ribbon.

Upon arrival, Camilla was met by a radiant chorus, sung by a women's choir.

The group of women sang happily for the queen from a balcony in nearby flats.

She opted for a stylish navy blue dress while carrying a transparent umbrella, adding a black cropped jacket with open sides with a zipper, allowing her free use of her arms.

She paired the ensemble with a pair of black suede knee-high boots and a chic emerald green Van Cleef and Arpels Alhambra bracelet.

Her blonde bob was typically coiffed to perfection, while her makeup looked subtle and only accentuated by a nude lip color and black mascara.

While King Charles and the Princess of Wales have been out of action, Camilla and her sister-in-law, Princess Anne, have been busy.

Today Anne braved the wet weather to dress warmly at the NCI in Hengistbury Head.

The news comes as the royal was installed as honorary housekeeper of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers in her first engagement since returning to London with King Charles.

The Queen was accompanied at the couple's first joint engagement by the Duchess of Gloucester, who was made an honorary housekeeper in 2005.

The Queen opted for a black dress and met with the Registrar of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers, Mrs Claire Chitty, and the Master of the Worshipful Company of Fan Makers, Mr Peter Dove, ahead of a ceremony at Clarence House.

Camilla shook hands with the clerks as she adorned a red and gold robe.

Earlier in the day, Queen Camilla stood by her husband's side as the royal couple were driven to nearby Clarence House.

It is believed the King will hold face-to-face meetings in London this week despite his ongoing cancer treatment.

He will spend about a day in the capital as his travel is likely to overlap with his medical appointments.

Charles was seen walking to church in Sandringham with Camilla on Sunday, the first time he has been seen in public since starting regular treatments.

He broke his silence for the first time on Saturday when he expressed his sincere gratitude for the outpouring of support and said he was “encouraged” to hear that his experience is inspiring others across the country to get themselves checked.

The letter, signed by Charles R, read: 'I would like to express my sincere thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days.

'As anyone affected by cancer will know, such kind thoughts are the greatest comfort and encouragement.

'It is equally encouraging to hear how sharing my own diagnosis has helped to promote public understanding and shine a light on the work of all those organizations supporting cancer patients and their families in the UK and the support the rest of the world.

'My lifelong admiration for their tireless care and dedication is all the greater as a result of my own personal experience.'

Charles announced last week that he would postpone all public duties while he undergoes treatment for an unspecified cancer, discovered by doctors while he was being treated for his benign enlarged prostate.

But the king is well enough to hold a limited number of face-to-face meetings, sources say.

The Queen has kept her royal diary of engagements and said last week that her husband was doing “extremely well under the circumstances”.
