Candace Cameron Bure has a lot to be thankful for these holidays now that eldest son Lev is getting married, We weekly can confirm.
“They’re all coming home,” Cameron Bure, 47, said exclusively Us on Friday, November 17 about her three children’s plans for Christmas.
The My Christmas hero actress, who promotes her Generous children’s book club launch revealed that in addition to daughter Natasha, 25, and sons Lev, 23, Maksim, 21, she and husband Valeri Bure could receive a visit from their future daughter-in-law.
“We will have a daughter soon. My son is getting married just after Christmas, so we are very excited,” says Cameron Bure. “She’s definitely, definitely invited into the family, but we’ll see how the holidays go that way.” Now they are two families. We’ll probably compete for the kids every year.
As Lev prepares to walk down the aisle with his bride, whose name has not been shared, Cameron Bure promised that he Us that she doesn’t cause any problems when it comes to planning.
“Am I one [mother of the] groom? No I am not. I promise you it’s not,” she insisted. “I feel like it’s probably different being the mother of a groom than the mother of the bride.”
The Fuller house alum continued, “I’m definitely finding my place at the wedding and just being supportive and I love that. Of course I want to help and do everything, but I’m learning to settle into my position of just being available and supportive.
Cameron Bure told it Us that while she isn’t focused on teaching the happy couple marital wisdom, that doesn’t mean she isn’t ready to help her son find his way as a husband.
“I think that’s what the marriage advice was [given] en route. That’s what parenting is, right? It’s like constant education and advice,” she said. “They are great people, and we support them. They are great.”
The actress, who has been married for 27 years, added: “So I think the best advice for them is to know that we are there for them for any questions or needs they may have. We are always here and ready to be available and answer.”
In addition to the holidays and planning a wedding, Cameron Bure said Us on Friday that she is excited to launch her Generous Kids Book Club with the help of Generous Family on Friday, December 1.
“I love everything the generous family does and reads to my children, especially when they were younger. It was my favorite thing to do with them,” says the New York Times bestselling author said of the collaboration. “I loved books. They are a great way to teach, but also to hear what your children are thinking about and invite conversation.”
The subscription book club sends members a new book once a month and focuses on stories that promote “values that matter,” according to Cameron Bure, including “values like giving and thoughtfulness and generosity and empathy and compassion.” I mean really wonderful things that not only children need to be reminded of, but we need to be reminded of as well.”
In addition to the monthly book, subscribers get “all kinds of goodies, like their stickers and collectible card and some family conversation questions,” Cameron Bure said. “So it really makes it fun to open a nice package.”
Moreover, the characters in the books appear again and again. “You’ll see these characters in each of the stories you get and they’re so cute,” she teased. “They have become a little family, but every month a different character is in the spotlight.”
Fans can pre-order The Generous Kids Book Club starting this week at royalefamilie.com. The first books will be shipped on December 1.
