Order Valentine's flowers, delivered the next day

Many high street and supermarket chains such as M&S and Morrisons also offer next day delivery services.

The express service usually charges higher shipping costs, so always check the costs in advance.

Most e-florists and online retailers offer a next day delivery service.

Before ordering, make sure you check that the retailer can deliver your flowers on the date you need them.

It's always worth shopping around so you can find out which deal suits you best.

What should I do if I am not satisfied with my flowers?

Consumer group Which one? advises you to take the following steps to get your money back:

  • Take a photo as evidence of poor condition or damage to your flowers to substantiate your complaint.
  • If a loved one or friend has sent you flowers that arrived in poor condition or late, tell them. Otherwise, the retailer may say they don't have access to the order information and can't solve the problem.
  • If you receive fewer flowers than you ordered, you are entitled to a partial refund for the missing flowers.

If you haven't yet sorted out your Valentine's Day dinner plans, consider staying in.
