Cole Sprouse and Ari Fournier's relationship timeline
Cole Sprouse's life became a lot more fun when he started dating a model Ari Fournier in 2021.
The pair sparked romantic speculation in February 2021 when they were spotted together in Vancouver, Canada. However, their relationship started a month earlier after Sprouse and Riverdale Co-star Lili Reinhart stopped working in March 2020.
The actor hinted in March 2022 that the “public currency” surrounding his divorce from Reinhart prompted him to keep his romance with Fournier even more private.
“Followers report anything about Ari and me as harassment, and it is deleted almost immediately,” Sprouse said. GQ how he now handles the control. “Even my other friends' accounts are getting deleted.”

February 2021
The pair were spotted enjoying brunch in Canada, sparking dating rumors. Fournier later revealed via Instagram that their first date was in January.
July 2021
“Time to piss off the 14 year olds again,” Sprouse wrote via his Instagram Story, sharing two photos of Fournier. His caption was apparently in response to fans who were upset that he was dating someone new.
August 2021
The model went Instagram official with Sprouse on his birthday. “I'm very happy you were born ❤️ Happy birthday my love @colesprouse,” Fournier captioned a series of photos with her boyfriend.
August 2022
The following year, both Fournier and Sprouse shared a birthday tribute for each other, as they were both born in the same month.
“It's hard to describe in just a few photos how much fun we have together and how much I love celebrating life with you every day,” Fournier wrote. via Instagram on August 4. “I really am the happiest girl in the world 🤍 Happy birthday my love, on to 30 🎉❤️🔥.”
Sprouse returned the favor on August 28, writing in his own post, “Happy birthday to the incredible @ariloufournier. The Apple of my eye. The slaw for my cole. Brussels for my partner. The feast of my famine. Love you sweetheart. Two full circles around the large buffet heat lamp in the sky. ❤️.”
January 2023
“2 years??! Can someone please explain to me how it went so fast 🫀❤️,” Fournier wrote via Instagramsharing a photo booth strip with photos of Sprouse being kissed.
July 2023
The Suite life of Zack & Cody alum brought Fournier to his twin brother as a date, Dylan Husband's wedding. Dylan got married Barbara Palvin in her home country Hungary.
“The most special time in Hungary in honor of Dylan and Barbara 🤍,” Fournier captioned a series of snaps of the ceremony. “It was a privilege to have quality time with everyone and get to know Hungarian wedding traditions.”
August 2023
Fournier looked at fans again her and Cole at Dylan's wedding while toasting his birthday. “I am so lucky to share this life with you. Currently eating our bento boxes and holding hands in the park ❤️ I love you, happy birthday my love,” she wrote via social media.
January 2024
In honor of their anniversary, Fournier shared a photo of her travels with Cole over the years. “3 years today with my special person,” she wrote via Instagram. “I enjoy discovering this world with you 🤍 @colesprouse.”
