I have converted a small garage into a luxurious bedroom with its own living room and bathroom

A SAVVY man has been praised after transforming a narrow garage into a luxury studio with an en suite bathroom.

The Manchester builder showed off his latest home transformation on social media and people couldn't believe how good it had turned out.

“Garage converted into bedroom with bathroom,” he wrote, showing off the transformation.

In the previous photos, the garage had a typical white metal up-and-over door to keep it safe.

The narrow garage was originally used for storage, from the looks of it, as it was filled with cardboard boxes.

But the homeowners clearly wanted to make better use of the space.

He started by removing the door and instead built a brick wall with the addition of a window to let in natural light.

After the wall is built, a new floor and ceiling are installed before the walls are plastered ready for decoration.

We all know it can be freezing in garages, so they also added a radiator and power sockets in the room.

The narrow garage was fitted with a gray carpet and walls for a neutral appearance.

The bedroom was equipped with a double bed, a huge chest of drawers, a TV and even a sofa to create two spaces in one.

On the side of the garage, the man also built a modern bathroom with a beautiful waterfall shower.

The black and white bathroom had all the other necessities such as a sink and toilet and had a herringbone laminate floor.

The clip was posted to the construction companies' TikTok account @build caliber was a hit with viewers.

Many were stunned by how good the transformation looked, given the narrow garage.

One person wrote: “It really is NiceIt looked like it was going to be small, but it's perfect.”

Another commented: “That's amazing.”

“I love this!!!! Did you have to get a building permit because I wanted to do this too?” wrote a third.

“Just building regulations for this, but you should check with your builder and council as every property and area is different,” he replied.

Meanwhile, a fourth said: “Very clever.”
