Cristiano Ronaldo is pictured wearing blue nail polish after sharing a post-training photo with his son, Ronaldo Jr., on social media.

On Wednesday evening, Ronaldo scored his 27th goal of the season as Al-Nassr reached the quarter-finals of the Asian Champions League with a 3-0 aggregate victory over Al-Fayha.

While some of his teammates may have taken the opportunity to rest after the win, the former Real Madrid and Man United star has opted for the opposite.

On Thursday morning, Ronaldo shared a photo of himself topless, next to Ronaldo Jr, after a morning training session.

Wearing just shorts, the duo posed with big smiles on their faces as they stood in what appeared to be a home gym.

However, some fans were quick to point out that Ronaldo's feet appeared to be painted with blue nail polish as he posed for the photo.

In a caption to the post, Ronaldo wrote: “Today with my partner.”

Last month, Ronaldo Jr invited comparisons to his father for his nonchalant behavior during an Al-Nassr youth match.

The budding footballer, 13, cut a distant figure while playing for Saudi Arabia when an Al-Shabab opposition player tried to talk to him.

Footage shows Ronaldo Jr. puts his finger to his lips and peers out of the corner of his eye as the child approaches him.

He briefly wraps an arm around his opponent's neck to acknowledge him before shaking him off – and barely looks at him during the entire interaction, choosing to focus on the game rather than socializing.

Meanwhile, Ronaldo scored the only goal in Al-Nassr's first leg before finding the net in Riyadh with four minutes to go in the second leg on Wednesday night.

Ronaldo took advantage of a goalkeeping blunder to seal the victory, tapping the ball into an empty net after Vladimir Stojkovic failed to clear a long ball for Marcelo Brozovic and allowed the 39-year-old an easy finish.

Stojkovic was also at fault for Al-Nassr's opener, as Otavio headed Abdullah Al Khaibari's cross through his legs to put the hosts ahead in the 17th minute.

Ronaldo narrowly missed adding a second when his header hit the post in the 37th minute before sealing victory for his side.

The goal was Ronaldo's fifth in six AFC Champions League games this season and his 2nd in 28 appearances in all competitions this season.

Al-Nassr are still aiming for a first-ever continental title and will face Al-Ain of the United Arab Emirates in the quarter-finals next month after Hernan Crespo's side defeated Uzbek team Nasaf through Soufiane Rahimi's injury-time winner.
