Dancing On Ice fans rage as they accuse Vanessa Bauer of receiving 'favouritism' after she and Miles Nazaire impress judges with skate
Dancing On Ice fans were left furious during Sunday's episode of the show as they accused professional skater Vanessa Bauer of favoritism.
The figure skater, 27, is teaming up with Made In Chelsea star Miles Nazaire, 28, this year.
TV personality Miles surpassed Olympian Greg Rutherford on the Dancing On Ice leaderboard after achieving a score of 29 this weekend, the new highest score of the series.
He danced an elegant routine with Vanessa Bauer to the song A Thousand Years from the film Twilight Saga, in which the performance included a spinning circle movement and a lariat-on-back lift.
But Vanessa and Miles' efforts failed to impress some viewers as they claimed on social media that she is always paired with talented celebrity partners.

Judge Oti Mabuse said she loved the intimacy and storytelling of Vanessa and Miles' routine, adding: “I loved it, you can be proud of that performance.”
Ashley Banjo also praised it as “so graceful and so controlled,” while revealing that he feels Nazaire has a lot of potential in the competition.
Ashley and Oti awarded Vanessa and Miles seven points each, while fellow judge Jayne Torvill and head judge Christopher Dean gave them 7.5 each.
Vanessa and her celebrity partner Jake Quickenden won Dancing On Ice in 2018 and last year she came second with Joey Essex.
In 2022 she was also in the final with Brendan Cole, but the pair did not win the show.
On Twitter, someone wrote: 'Oh, what a surprise!! Vanessa works with someone who can skate and has great skating skills and confidence. Will there ever be a series where she teams up with someone who is really struggling?! Cronyism strikes again!'
While someone else shared: 'Of course Vanessa gets a good partner for the seventh time.'
Another viewer wrote: 'Why are they all acting shocked that Vanessa got the highest score of the series? Like it doesn't happen every year.'

While someone else commented: 'Of course Miles gets the highest score of the series because his partner is Vanessa.'
“Vanessa has a partner at the top of the leaderboard…shocking,” said another show fan.
Another audience member at home wrote, “Vanessa gets a good skater every year!!! That's kudos!!'
While someone else asked: 'How come Vanessa always gets the best dancers?'
Someone else wrote: 'I'm so done with Vanessa to be honest…just give her another finale why not.'
Someone else gave a slightly more positive opinion, writing, “I absolutely love Vanessa, but I'd love to see her paired up with someone who sucks to see how they would develop through the competition.”
While another viewer shared: 'Looking through the hashtag and such negativity towards Miles and Vanessa. I would have also scored him higher than Eddie because of Eddie's little stumble. And what's the problem if Vanessa has romantic chemistry with her partners? I don't see the problem at all.'
Hannah Spearritt left Dancing On Ice on Sunday.

The former S Club 7 singer and her professional partner Andy Buchanan found themselves in the bottom two with Claire Sweeney and Colin Grafton.
With no skate-off this week alone, the 42-year-old star was automatically eliminated after receiving the lowest score when the jury scores were combined with the public vote.
As presenters Holly Willoughby and Stephen Mulhern commiserated with Hannah and Andy, the former Primeval actress said: 'It's sad to see someone leave.'
This weekend saw the contestants dress up for film week and Hannah admitted she was glad she danced as Elsa from Frozen to the song Let It Go for her final performance as her two daughters were in the audience.
As the camera panned to her family, she said, “It was fun talking about Elsa.
'I enjoyed it, everyone was fantastic and it was a pleasure working with Andy, thanks for the journey.'
When she signed up for the show, Hannah explained that she was keen to push herself out of her comfort zone and improve her fitness.
She said: 'I'm really excited about learning a new skill.
“It's so easy to live a comfortable life and that aspect of mixing things up is very appealing.”

'Fitness is another reason why I do it! It's really exciting.'
She followed in the footsteps of former bandmate Rachel Stevens, who competed on the show last year and was the third celebrity to be eliminated.
Next weekend is the return of the skate off.
