Disney-Obsessed TikToker Stays at California Adventure Park’s New Pixar Place Hotel: Here’s Her Honest Verdict…
“I really felt like I was in a Pixar movie.”
That’s the impression Disney-obsessed TikToker Juliet Nuzzo got when she recently visited one of Disney’s newest hotels, Pixar Place Hotel.
Located in Disney California Adventure Park in Anaheim, the hotel’s entire theme is based on the famous Pixar animation studio and its creations.
The content creator filmed her stay at the hotel and posted her “honest review” of it on her TikTok account (@perfectingthemagic), where it was viewed more than 400,000 times and liked 37,000 times.
Juliet spoke to MailOnline Travel about her impressions of the hotel. Her verdict? She said: ‘This is my new happy place.’

The themed hotel is entirely based on the Pixar animation studio. Juliet said she felt like she had been ‘transported into a Pixar movie’
In the clip, she shows off the colorful entrance and bright reception area, with animated art and a huge image of the instantly recognizable Pixar lamp taking center stage.
She then shows a real ‘Joe Gardener’ from the Pixar film Soul singing and playing the piano, before filming an outdoor swimming pool, which ‘blows her’.
Her footage also includes a look inside her Pixar-themed room and the “phenomenal” view from her window.
Juliet told MailOnline Travel: ‘You can’t step foot in this hotel without encountering a whiff of Pixar. It’s vibrant and bright everywhere you look.’
She said of her room, “I couldn’t believe how big the space was and how the Pixar theme was evident from floor to ceiling. It didn’t hurt that I had the best view of Disneyland park from my hotel that I’ve ever had.”
She rated her theme park view room with ‘high marks for comfort’.
“I loved having a little Pixar lamp on my desk and the fun mural-style headboard,” she said.
However, she added: ‘My only complaint is the lack of theming of the bathroom. It feels a bit generic compared to the rest of the room.”

Juliet said: ‘You can’t walk half a metre in this hotel without encountering a whiff of Pixar’
But for Disney fanatics, it was the proximity to California Adventure Park that was most exciting.
She said, “When I stay at a Disneyland hotel, I spend a significant amount of time in the parks. Pixar Place offers one of the shortest walks to the park entrance, which is a huge plus.”
Were there any surprises? Juliet claimed the addition of live music was the biggest ‘wow factor’.
She said, “It was really moving to see Soul’s “Joe” playing on a grand piano in the lobby.”
Was there anything she didn’t like?
Juliet said the hotel was lacking in the food department.
She continued, “I look forward to the food as part of the experience of staying in a hotel, and Pixar Place Hotel feels like it’s a little short on dining options.
“I’d be tempted to hang around longer if they could add more.”
She claimed that the poolside fast food restaurant was closed during her stay and said she would recommend visiting the nearby Starbucks instead of the hotel’s coffee shop, ‘The Sketch Pad’.

Despite her disappointment with the dining options, Juliet described her meal at the Great Maple American Eatery, the resort’s flagship restaurant, as “fantastic.”
She said: ‘I really can’t wait to go there again and eat. The maple doughnuts [at breakfast] are rightly dreamy.’
Although the room rate is ‘hefty’, with prices starting from $440 (£354) per night, Juliet said: ‘I think it’s worth it.’
She explains: ‘I’ve paid over $300 (£241) a night for local hotels in Anaheim that didn’t have the same park benefits, theming and unique touches as the Pixar Place Hotel.
‘The hotel is certainly an expensive expense, but the quality of the furnishings and rooms made me feel like I got more than my money’s worth.’
Juliet said the Pixar Place Hotel’s location is a “huge advantage.” The park was just a short walk from her hotel and Juliet had a beautiful view of it from her room (pictured)

Juliet said she would “definitely” return to the hotel and is already planning a “Pixar movie marathon night” for her next visit.
She said: ‘If it fits your budget I would recommend a visit. The room quality is fantastic and the proximity to Disneyland Resort is great.’
Although she cautioned, “You have to like Pixar.” Otherwise, she added, “You might not like Nemo hanging out above your bed at night.”
