Bristol Rovers have confirmed that Ingo Calderon has been fired.
The EFL Outfit waved the ax on the manager less than 24 hours after the end of the League One season.
Calderon, 43, supervised a disastrous end of the season where the club won only one point in their last ten games.
The Spaniard was only appointed in December after he had signed a deal of two and a half years.
After relegation to League Two, He was fired by the club.
An explanation was: “Bristol Rovers can confirm that Inigo Calderon has left his position as the first team head coach of men.
“Miguel Llera, who has been helping with the coaching department since March, also left the club.
“Everyone Bristol Rovers Would like to thank Inigo and Miguel for their hard work, dedication and dedication and wish them both success in their respective future careers.
“There is a thorough process to recruit a replacement and the club will not give any further comments at the moment.”
Calderon also released his own statement after the decision.

He insisted that it was a “true honor” to lead the club and pay tribute to the fans.

Calderon started his career as a player at Deportivo Alavés.
He left Spain for England in 2010 when he became a member Brighton and Hove Albion.
He played a key role in the seagulls when he helped them win promotion Championship In 2011.
He spent six years on the south coast before he had spells with Anorthose and Chennaiyin before retired.
Bristol Rovers was his first job as a manager and it ended after losing 4-1 against Blackpool on Saturday.
The club had already confirmed their relegation on Tuesday after Burton Albion pulled with Wigan.
