Elsa Pataky makes a defiant statement about her marriage as she steps out of Magic Millions without husband Chris Hemsworth after claiming they are ‘driving apart’

Elsa Pataky has once again poured cold water on rumors that she and husband Chris Hemsworth have grown apart.

The Spanish actress attended the Magic Millions in Queensland alone and opted to party with friends, but she made sure her engagement ring said it all.

The 47-year-old showed off the round-cut diamond platinum band given to her by Chris in 2010.

Although Elsa attended the event solo, it was a strong statement about the state of her marriage following recent rumors that she and the Thor actor have “drift apart.”

Looking fit and fabulous, Elsa made sure all eyes were on her as she arrived in a low-cut strapless yellow dress that highlighted her ample cleavage.

Her gown also had unusual floral appliqués and a small thigh slit where her pins were clearly visible.

Elsa accessorized with sunglasses and silver heels, while she added a series of gold bracelets and a matching necklace.

The Poker Face actress completed her look with a white Bulgari handbag.

Elsa was deep in conversation with model and racing identity Kate Waterhouse and Daily Mail columnist Jana Hocking.

She uploaded photos to Instagram showing her and her husband enjoying the holidays with friends and family over the New Year.

Chris and Elsa also hosted Christmas celebrations together at their $20 million Byron Bay pad and enjoyed a family holiday in Fiji.

The genetically blessed duo, who have been married for over a decade, left tongues wagging that all was not well in paradise after they vacationed separately.

A source close to the couple told In Touch magazine that despite maintaining a united front for their family and spending Christmas together, the duo have been growing apart for some time.

“The status of Chris and Elsa’s marriage is a question mark,” the source told the publication.

She seemed to be having a good time with her friends after leaving Chris at home

‘The individual holidays are a huge warning, but it is more than that. They are still a close family, but as a couple they have grown apart.’

The source claimed that Chris wants to live a “simpler life,” but “Elsa wants more.”

“They were the perfect husband-and-wife team for so long – both beautiful, beautiful children. Everything seemed beautiful. But things have definitely changed,” she added.

The couple from Bryon Bay, NSW married in 2010, just a few months after making their relationship official, and have three children: daughter India Rose, 11, and nine-year-old twins Sasha and Tristan.
