Why are India and Pakistan enemies?
Disputes between India and Pakistan over the Kashmir region date decades.
The territory of the Muslim majority was fought in the aftermath of the independence of both countries after the distribution of India in 1947.
War between India and Pakistan would break out again in 1965 -which ended in a cease -the fire.

The IPL was played in South Africa and the VAE in the past and the English authorities will be happy if the tournament resumed in September – because that would not clash with the at the time of this summer against India, which runs from 20 June to 4 August.
In the meantime, the remaining eight games in the Pakistan Super League will be played in the VAE with a new schedule that will soon be announced.
England players in the PSL are James Vince, Sam Billings, Chris Jordan, David Willey, Tom Kohler-Cadmore, Tom Curran and Luke Wood with coaching staff, including Ravi Bopara and Alex Hartley.
