England footballer Kalvin Phillip and girlfriend Ashleigh Behan announced on social media on Boxing Day that they have welcomed a baby.
The childhood sweethearts had kept their pregnancy news a secret, sharing a gallery of black and white photos of their bundle of joy, as well as some pregnancy photos.
The couple seemed excited to make the announcement, with make-up artist Ashleigh writing ‘the best gift of all’.
They have yet to reveal the name or gender of their firstborn.
Kalvin and Ashleigh, both 27, started dating in early 2011. They would both have been just 15 years old when they met and Kalvin would have played for Leeds United’s youth team.

Kalvin and Ashleigh, both 27, started dating in early 2011. They would both have been just 15 years old when they met and Kalvin would have played for Leeds United’s youth team.
He went on to play as a midfielder for Leeds United and is now a Manchester City player.
In 2020, Ashleigh told The Mirror that she was in a supermarket when Phillips told her he was in the England squad for the 2020 Euros.
She screamed and burst into tears when he Facetimed her with the news, saying, “The cashier thought I was crazy.”
