Former University of Wisconsin chancellor who faces ax over OnlyFans porn account he created with wife reveals astonishing amount they’ve spent creating adult material

Former University of Wisconsin Chancellor Joe Gow has revealed how much money he and his wife make from posting adult content Fans only.

Professor Joe Gow, 63, was fired last year as chancellor of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse but will retain his role as a communications professor.

Accordingly, his salary plummeted from more than $250,000 a year to about $92,000.

While he took a pay cut when he lost his role as chancellor, Gow and his wife of ten years, Carmen Wilson, 56, now earn “a few thousand dollars” a month on OnlyFans, they said The free press.

The couple, who post online under the username “Sexy Happy Couple,” now have more than 10,000 subscribers who pay $7.99 or $9.99 a month to see their content.

Their YouTube channel offers videos of them cooking vegan meals with porn stars before sleeping with them. The more explicit content ends up on their OnlyFans account.

Gow claims he and his wife spent more than $80,000 to produce their content.

The educator said he decided to post the videos online because he was thinking about retiring as UW chancellor.

But last December, Gow learned he had been sacked after 16 years as chancellor because of his adult content.

Gow says interim chancellor Betsy Morgan sent him a report in March accusing him of producing pornography using university technology and of “unethical and possibly illegal conduct.”

Despite still technically being employed by the university, Gow is currently not allowed to set foot on campus as he remains on paid leave after a complaint was filed to have his permanent status reviewed.

Later this year, he will be the subject of a hearing that will determine whether or not he can return to the classroom.

For now, however, he continues to collect his salary as a teacher, and his secondary income as an X-rated content creator, who has reportedly continued to distribute content.

Gow told The Free Press that UW tried to get him to retire early, but he refused.

“I don’t think I did anything wrong,” he said. ‘And I don’t think they can prove that. I want people to know what’s going on here.’

Gow, who will represent himself before a panel of his peers on June 17, added that it is ironic that he is being targeted for his adult content when UW offers a race, gender and sexuality studies major and an annual organizes sex week with events such as ‘condom bingo.’

The couple also appear on at least two other porn websites – PornHub and XHamster – and some videos have been viewed more than 200,000 times. All videos were posted within the last two months.

UW System Regent President Karen Walsh previously expressed disgust at Gow’s side project.

‘Dr. Joe Gow has shown a reckless disregard for the role he has been entrusted with at UW-La Crosse to serve students, faculty and staff, and the campus community,” Walsh said.

“I don’t think I did anything wrong,” Gow said. ‘And I don’t think they can prove that. “I want people to know what’s going on here.”

“The outrage over his behavior is reflected in the UW Board of Regents’ unanimous vote to remove him as chancellor. We are alarmed and disgusted by his actions, which were completely and unequivocally inconsistent with his role as chancellor.”

Gow, La Crosse’s second-longest serving chancellor, told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel that his content is protected by free speech and that no university property or funds were used to create it.

“Nothing is said about the University of Wisconsin; nothing is said about the chancellor (on the videos). So someone else would have to make those associations. And then someone would have to say this is problematic,” Gow said.

During the 90-minute speech, Hartley told students that it is acceptable to enjoy pornography, and not to enjoy it or be confused by it. She also emphasized that pornography is fantasy.

Gow later apologized for the “sensational” media attention Hartley’s performance had attracted, saying he was naive about the possibility that her appeal would overwhelm her message. He also personally reimbursed the school for the $5,000.

Gow and Wilson have reportedly published two books about their adult content under pseudonyms and describe themselves as executives of well-known institutions in the country.

In Monogamy with Benefits: How Porn Enriches Our Relationship, published in 2015, the couple said they are “fairly certain there would be a scandal if our peers knew what we did.”
