Manchester City will travel to Wembley for the FA Cup final for the third time in three years.
However, they will play Crystal Palace – not Manchester UnitedWith whom they were confronted in the previous two iterations.
Palace strives to get a better than their last Fa -Cup Final performance in 2016, where they lost 2-1 to United, and brought the famous trophy back to South London.
Oliver Glasner’s Silk then lowered Aston Villa in the semi -finalBeating Unai Emery’s silk 3-0 on a comfortable afternoon in Wembley.
CityCurrently won seven times the trophy, the counting of Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham All-time, a win FA Cup number eight against Palace can be equal.
City has been here twice in two seasons, but will have to take on Palace a little later than in previous seasons.
Why does Man City vs Crystal Palace start later?
Man City vs Crystal Palace starts at 4.30 pm BST, instead of 3 p.m. BST in 2025.
The final is usually held at 3 p.m., because this is the time that the police have.
The change is due to a dispute between ITV and BBC, both of which currently have the rights to show the FA Cup.
ITV insisted on the final at 5.30 pm, because this would maximize prime time viewers and advertisement.
BBC, however, wanted to keep the final during the traditional starting time of 3 p.m.
This was the case that the Eurovision Song match could continue without any interruption – even if City vs Palace is completely punished.
As such, the couple agreed to play the final at 4.30 pm BST.
