I got 8 beauty items for free in the great Boots sale and my friend saved £90 on transport

An ENLIGHTENED shopper has shared her huge haul of goodies from Boots, claiming she received eight beauty products for free.

Others said they saved up to £90 in the retailer's “best ever sale”.

One Facebook user posted a photo of a large box containing 11 Soap and Glory products worth £82.89, which she bought from Boots, on a Facebook group called Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

She wrote: “Just picked up my Soap and Glory order from Boots.

“If you have the discount card, add the 50% discount on soap and glory to your discount card. The 50% discount also works on top of the sale.

“All this for £22.74.”

Another woman claimed she “paid nothing” for eight products, while someone else said: “I picked mine up yesterday. 7 full size products for £9, saving £43.”

Someone else said she paid just £3.50 for the postage on 14 Soap and Glory products she bought at Boots during the sale, while another shared a receipt showing she saved £90 when she bought 15 bottles of shower gel bought.

But others that were slower to sell were missing beauty products.

One customer wrote: “All the soap and glory seems to be sold out now.

“I would have done it for gifts and the food bank, but I missed it.”

Another said: “I ordered some yesterday but half the stock was out of stock. I managed to get a few pieces but the offer on the value card can be used twice on mine.”

Someone else explained: “It was a problem and has now been resolved. You now get 50% off, but on 4 out of stock items.”

Another customer who collected her order today showed a receipt for her purchases, showing that she had saved £78 on her order, with the original subtotal being £104 and the reduced price being £26.

Earlier this month, The Sun revealed that Boots had slashed the prices of thousands of fragrances, wellness products and beauty items.

The Boots sale saw the prices of products from well-known brands such as No7, Dyson, Benefit and Oral-B reduced by up to 50 percent.

Boots reports on its website: “The wait is over! It's that time of year again and our Big Boots Sale is here.

“Save up to half price on a HUGE selection of favorites.

“We have everything you're looking for, from all your favorite brands, ready for your cart.”

Highlights of this year's New Year sale include deals at less than half price on selected gift sets such as this No7 Ultimate skincare collection, which cost £85 but is now on sale for £35.70.

Fans of designer fragrances can also get 50 percent off perfumes from YSL, Gucci, Calvin Klein and more.

And expectant parents can also get discounts on basic essentials, with everything from baby clothes to car seats included in the price cuts.
