Moment furious woman erupts with rage at Mexican restaurant after noisy baby disturbs her meal. So, whose side are you on?

A woman was arrested and branded ‘Karen’ after publicly berating a mother at a Mexican restaurant after her baby made some noise.

In a series of TikToks videos that have been viewed more than 11 million times, a user named Madi shared a disturbing encounter with a 50-year-old woman with whom she says she got into a fistfight after being yelled at about her child.

The confrontation took place at Jalapeño Grill, a Mexican restaurant in Gulfport, Mississippi.

In a videoa group of customers lined up behind Madi, placed themselves between the young mother and the out-of-control woman and told the smoking woman to calm down.

The woman then erupts and violently yells at the surrounding customers, “Then don’t take your damn baby to a damn restaurant.”

A group of customers lined up behind Madi, placed themselves between the young mother and the out-of-control woman and told the smoking woman to calm down. The woman then erupts and violently yells at the surrounding customers, “Then don’t take your damn baby to a damn restaurant.”

She continues her tirade, complaining that she and other customers can hear the baby on the other side of the restaurant.

“People at my tables and tables next to me couldn’t hear me talking,” the woman said aggressively to one of the men, to which he replied, “we never even heard the baby there.”

Before the situation could escalate further, security officers entered the restaurant. They ordered all customers to get their food and leave the premises, but the woman continued to cause a scene.

Having had enough, the officer shouts ‘STOP’ at her, calming her down immediately. “If we stay, people will go to jail,” the officer said firmly.

The woman then called Madi a “fucking whore” and dropped her off before she was arrested and escorted out of the restaurant by security.

The internet quickly came to Madi’s rescue, sharing their belief that the woman was out of line.

“I didn’t even hear the baby once during all of this,” one user commented.

“She’s the crazy baby,” said another, referring to the wojman who was arrested.

‘When dining out, it is common to accept and expect that there will be some form of distraction. If you want to have a quiet conversation, invite your friend to your house,” said another user.

In a sequel videoMadi said she didn’t know any of the customers who stood up for her and protected her during the incident.

She made it clear that her baby did not cry all the time, and if that was indeed the case, she would have left the restaurant of her own accord.

Madi said she was having dinner with her mother, who took a pen from her son, prompting him to make some noise.

When she heard the woman’s rude comments, she got up, ran to the wrong table and asked who made the comment about her son.

The table then sent her to the group of people next to them, where Madi said the woman was “literally hiding in her booth like a scared little puppy.”

She said the woman pushed her first, which Madi took as a “green light” to stand up for herself.

At the end of the video, Madi posted the woman’s mugshot. She did not release the woman’s name.
