Gal Gadot stars in new trailer for upcoming spy thriller Heart Of Stone, which also stars Jamie Dornan

Gal Gadot sprang into action in a new trailer for her upcoming Netflix spy thriller Heart Of Stone, which also stars Jamie Dornan.

The 38-year-old Israeli actress stars as Agent Rachel Stone in the film directed by British filmmaker Tom Harper, which is slated to be the start of a franchise.

The trailer, shown Saturday at Netflix’s Tudum fan event in Brazil, opened with Stone being reminded of the importance of her work through Sophie Okonedo’s character.

“You know what you signed up for. No friends, no relationships… what we do is too important. When governments fail, all that remains is the Charter,” she told Stone.

Stone by day works as an agent for MI6, but also serves as an agent for the Charter, an organization dedicated to “keeping the peace in a turbulent world.”

The Charter is based on a powerful piece of artificial intelligence with the ability to “crash a market or make a plane fall out of the sky” and the Heart’s owner owns “the world,” a voiceover informed viewers .

The antagonist of the movie, Keya Dhawan [played by Bollywood star Alia Bhatt]steals the ‘heart’ of The Charter.

Stone goes on a mission to retrieve it and at one point she jumped a railing and tumbled down a snowy slope before starting to paraglide through the Alps. She also jumped from a moving motorcycle and from an airplane in mid-flight.

Matthias Schweighöfer also stars in the film and his character warns Stone that her “chances of success have just plummeted” and she replied, “Only because you have no imagination.”

Gal previously starred in the Netflix action comedy Red Notice which also starred Ryan Reynolds and Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, who was also a co-producer.

Two sequels are in development and Gal, Ryan and Dwayne return alongside Red Notice writer and director Rawson Marshall Thurber.

Gal is a co-producer of Heart Of Stone, which was filmed in Italy, London, Iceland and Portugal.

Heart Of Stone is scheduled to release August 11 on Netflix.
