Many are clearly making the most of the opportunity and buying in bulk using hotukdeals to share their comments.

The bars are sold at the discounted price at Farmfoods in Acomb and also, according to a commenter on the deals advertising site, at Farmfoods, Preston.

One person wrote: “Managed to pack five boxes from Farmfoods Preston on Strand Road. Thanks for the heads up.”

Another added: “National deal I think. Just stocked up on 36 cheesecakes for 29 cents and 40 peanuts for 49 cents, enough to use a coupon, which works out to just under 37 cents per bar!

A third couldn't believe the offer, writing: “Pomegranate bar usually £2.80 per bar up to 49p farm food.”

Grenade protein bars were launched in 2010 and have taken the fitness industry by storm.

The bars come in many flavors, including birthday cake, chocolate chip, cookie dough chocolate and more.

This isn't the only deal that has shoppers jumping up and down with excitement lately.

One just a few days ago lucky shopper discovered Cadbury Creme Eggs were selling for 15p at Boots.

Tracey Young revealed she found the precious egg in Boots Eastgate, in Bristol.

She posted her astonishing find on the Facebook group Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK.

“There aren't many left, but there may be other stores that aren't on clearance.”

Creme Eggs usually sell for four times the price at the major retailers: 60p at ASDA, 65p at Iceland and 70p at Sainsbury's.
