Gwen Stefani and husband Blake Shelton make live debut of new single Purple Irises during Super Bowl LVIII TikTok Tailgate

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are among the swarms of A-list celebrities who attended Super Bowl LVIII in Las Vegas.

By the time kickoff arrived, the famous couple was seen together in one of the suites with a number of other people who appeared to be friends.

The duo Not only were there to watch all the high-flying action on the playing field, they also took part in the pre-game festivities, where they performed their brand new single Purple Irises during the #TikTokTailgate.

Stefani also sang some classics from her career with No Doubt and as a solo artist, including I'm Just a Girl and Hollaback Girl, according to People.

While on stage, the mother of three was decked out in a white, black and pale pink ensemble that resembled open chaps, along with her signature platinum blonde locks in a high ponytail.

Once Shelton took the stage for his duet with his country crooner wife, he was dressed in simple black pants, a button-up shirt and cowboy boots.

Just two days earlier, the couple dropped the lovey-dovey song, which seems to reflect on their relationship.

Lyrics in the new song include, “But if someone comes along and tries / I love you like I do / Don't know what I would do / I don't wanna lose you,” she sings, later adding, “No “I've never known love like this. Now we're picking purple irises.”

After the show, the pair both shared a series of photos on their respective Instagram pages, along with a message from the Sweet Escape starlet.

Shelton and Stefani could be seen chatting, laughing and shouting as they got animated by all the action on the field.

It looks like Stefani has ditched her stage attire for a simpler and more comfortable look, wearing a green and blue jacket over a white top.

As for the Nobody But You singer, he appeared to still be dressed in his black monochromatic look.

Finally, the Kansas City Chiefs clinched an overtime victory over the San Francisco 49ers with a dramatic three-yard touchdown pass to Mecole Hardman Jr. to win 25–22.

Kansas City has now won two Super Bowls in a row and three in the last five years with Patrick Mahomes at quarterback and star Travis Kelce.

They are the first NFL team in 19 years to repeat as Super Bowl champions.
