Hollywood actress keeps a low profile in dark shades and winter coat during outing in London – but can you guess who she is?

She became known as one of Hollywood’s top actresses after starting her career in one of America’s most iconic films in the late 1960s.

The actress, best known for her role in the 1978 film Grease alongside John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John, was spotted in Soho on Saturday.

The star tried to keep a low profile as she covered her face with large dark sunglasses and wrapped herself in a navy blue winter coat.

Movies weren’t her only path to success. From 1999 to 2006, she also played the role of First Lady Abbey Bartlet on the NBC television series The West Wing.

That’s right, it’s Stockard Channing.

The 79-year-old rose to fame in one of the most iconic musical films of all time.

But Stockard now looks far away from the rebellious Betty Rizzo with her dark brown head of curly hair.

The star swapped brunette for blonde as she wore her shoulder-length hair down as she strolled around the capital.

Keeping a low profile, she teamed her dark coat with matching tight navy trousers and added a few inches to her height with a pair of black platform boots.

Stockard, who grew up in New York City, began her career as a theater actress, performing in a range of shows through the Theater Company of Boston.

Besides Grease, the actress also appeared in films The Fortune, The Big Bus, The Cheap Detective, Heartburn, To Wong Foo, Six Degrees Of Separation, to name a few.

In 1985, Stockard won a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Play for the Broadway revival of A Day in the Death of Joe Egg.

She also won Emmy Awards for both The West Wing and The Matthew Shepard Story in 2002.

She also played the recurring role of Veronica Loy on the CBS drama The Good Wife from 2012 to 2016.

She has been married and divorced four times in her decades-long career. She married her first husband, a wooden sculpture named Walter Channing Jr., in 1963, and they separated in 1967.

She then married a professor named Paul Schmidt in 1970, but they divorced after six years together.

Her third marriage was to writer and producer David Deblin, whom she was with from 1976 to 1980, and most recently she married businessman David Rawle in 1980.

They separated eight years later, in 1988. She then entered into a relationship with cameraman Danie Gillham in 1990, with whom she was together until his death in 2014.

Stockard never had children and now lives in London.
