I always worry about my cat’s litter box – my 3 musts keep my house smelling good
A CAT mum has revealed three tricks to stop her house smelling like a litter box.
She says that in addition to removing odors, she always gets compliments from guests who visit her home.

Sophia (@ssooophia) shared the cleaning tips in a TikTok video.
“Probably my favorite compliment is when people walk into my apartment and say, ‘Oh my god, it smells so good in here!’ she said.
“As a cat mom, I always worry about the smell of the litter box, so I’m going to share three things I do to keep my apartment smelling good.”
In addition to scooping her litter box every day so odors don’t marinate, she used an odor eliminator that removed any remaining odors.
She revealed that she attacked the smell with the $12 Rocco & Roxie Cat Litter Box Odor Remover that she added directly to the litter box.
“You just sprinkle a little bit of this in the litter box after you clean it and mix it. It works so well,” she said.
As a seasoned pet owner, she added that Rocco & Roxie’s odor eliminator smoked the competition out of the water.
“I’ve tried so many of these types of scented beads and these are by far the best,” she said.
“It has a minty fresh scent.”
Her second trick was $20 diffuser oil, which allowed warm scents to flow through her home.
“My favorite diffuser oils are from Joocier. I love the Leatherhead and also the Cherub,” she said.
“They are both lovely scents, but what I like most is how long they last and how they spread throughout the apartment.”
When she doesn’t have her diffuser on, she opts for reed diffusers.
“My favorites are from Nest. I really love it because every time someone comes over and they sit near someone, they say how good it smells,” she said.
“I also like that I can just put them down and not have to worry about them.”
