Horrific moment Nigel Farage is pelted with objects by attacker as he campaigns for Reform Party on open top bus in Barnsley

A protester threw objects at him Nigel Farage in Barnsley town centre, where the leader of Reform UK was narrowly missed.

Mr Farage said he believes the items were wet cement from a workplace, followed by a coffee cup.

He was sitting on top of the Reform battle bus when the incident occurred.

Farage has just addressed his supporters but was interrupted by a crowd of protesters.

Police arrested the man who threw the objects.

Farage said he was warned by police not to get off the bus.
