Iconic 80’s B-52’s star, 76, looks like she’s barely aged a day as she reunites with 90’s pop star Lisa Loeb in Vegas

’80s icon Kate Pierson has shown off her age-defying beauty as she took to Instagram to share a reunion photo with her followers.

The B-52 star, 76, rose to fame in the late 1970s when she met the other members of what would become the B-52s at a restaurant in Athens, Georgia.

However, Kate has seemingly not aged a day as she shared a sweet reunion selfie of herself with ’90s pop icon Lisa Loeb, 56, Lyle Lovett, 66, and her friend Katie.

The singer looked stunning as she cut a glamorous figure in a purple velvet blazer and diamond-encrusted glasses.

She styled her red locks in loose waves and kept makeup to a minimum to show off her youthful looks.

Meanwhile, Lisa, who was responsible for the smash hit ‘Stay’ from the film Reality Bites, cut a stylish figure in a black off-the-shoulder mini dress.

The chic ensemble showed off Lisa’s slim figure and featured puffed sleeves and a plunging neckline.

Kate, who is unmistakable with her vibrant red hair color, is best known for her band’s hits Love Shack, Rock Lobster and Wig, to name a few.

But she has also collaborated with the likes of Iggy Pop on his early 90s single Candy, The Ramones’ Chop Suey and REM’s great LP Out of Time.

Kate’s also released a solo album co-written with pop powerhouse Sia, featuring songs produced by Jack White.

Her solo debut, Guitars and Microphones, was released in 2015 and allowed Kate to explore more personal topics than the eccentric themes of her group.

She told Spin: ‘I just wanted to be more real and emotional’

“The B-52s, you know, our songs are about volcanoes or lobsters.”

The B-52s formed in the late '70s when Kate, Fred Schneider, Keith Strickland, Cindy Wilson and the late Ricky Wilson had a jam session after a visit to a Chinese restaurant

“Cindy [Wilson] and I sing them as if our lives depend on it. I feel very emotional when I sing ‘Rock Lobster,’ but I wanted to sing more about my personal experiences.”

Former drummer Keith then had to step up and swap his drums for a guitar when he became the band’s new guitarist.

The band achieved great success with the release of their 1989 album Cosmic Thing and the mega-hit Love Shack.

Cosmic thing reached the top five in the United States, the top 10 in Britain and number one in Australia and New Zealand.

They scored a major number three UK hit in 1994 when they recorded the theme song for the film The Flintstones starring John Goodman.

Their latest album Funplex was then released in 2008, 16 years after 1992’s Good Stuff.

The band toured sporadically after that, but Keith retired in 2012.
