JAM scores will be used for admission to over 2000 seats for postgraduate programs such as M.Sc. and MA from IISc and various NITs, IIEST Shibpur, SLIET, DIAT through centralized counseling for M.Sc/M.Sc. (Technical.) Admission (CCMN). There are no additional written tests or interviews for admission to candidates who qualify for JAM and meet the eligibility and special eligibility requirements through CCMN.

The results of IIT JAM 2024 will be declared on the JAM website on March 22, 2024. For each test paper, all candidates are assigned an All India Rank (AIR) based on their performance.
