Jamie Lynn Spears and Grace Dent will return for the reunion episode of I’m A Celeb after their shock departure, MailOnline can reveal.

The former campmates will join the rest of the cast, including Jungle King Sam Thompson, 31, in their first sit-down interviews since fleeing Australia, with food critic Grace recalling her toughest moments.

Grace, 50, became the first contestant to leave the show this year amid mounting speculation about her poor looks, with sources telling MailOnline that being voted into yet another horrific Bushtucker Trial ‘pushed her over the edge.’

Britney Spears’ 32-year-old sister followed suit with her exit citing “medical issues,” throwing the series into crisis after two stars opted to leave for the first time in the show’s 21-year history.

But Jamie and Grace will appear in front of the camera again on Wednesday night during the I’m A Celebrity… Coming Out episode of the programme, where they will describe their emotional experiences in the Australian jungle.

‘Viewers will finally get to hear first-hand the highs and lows experienced by both stars, who have yet to open up about the reasons behind their shocking departures.

Shortly after returning to Britain, Grace shared a post with her followers saying she was ‘overwhelmingly sad’ at having to leave the show earlier than she expected.

She explained that her “wet” time in the jungle, without contact with friends and family, gave her an appreciation for “normal life,” which she now considers “beautiful.”

Grace added, “I didn’t go out like I planned or wanted, but I did what I could, and I did it in a siren red gel manicure without breaking a nail. I didn’t cry when I took off my bra and found a family of mealworms in the right cup. On some level this *must* be an achievement.’

Meanwhile, Jamie, who returned to the US after leaving camp, described starring in I’m A Celeb as an “incredibly special time” and said her co-stars were some of the “best people” she had ever met.

Jamie struggled from the start as she missed her children and the wet weather conditions also made her time in the jungle more difficult to cope with.

Although her reason for leaving has not been officially revealed, Jamie spent much of her time on the show in tears and said being away from her two daughters became overwhelming.
