It is a regular part of the annual jungle calendar that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats.

And I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here fans will be treated to the iconic Celebrity Cyclone trial again on Saturday’s show, and it will leave hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly in hysterics.

The final four celebrities – Josie Gibson, Tony Bellew, Nigel Farage and Sam Thompson – are ready to take on the grueling challenge, but an awkward blunder leaves the presenting duo struggling to hide their smiles.

As she struggles to reach Nigel, Ant shouts: ‘Right in the face! Come on Josie! You must go to Nigel Jose. Grab the stars!’

Dec added: ‘It’s almost time! Come on Josie!’

As Josie slowly collects three of the stars, she stumbles to the next marker as Tony Bellew shouts, “Go on Jose!”

But after being hit by a hose of water, Josie loses her grip on one of the stars, causing it to fly back down the slide.

Host Dec bursts out laughing: ‘She’s going to lose one! No, it’s gone!’

Viewers will have to wait and see if Josie, Tony, Sam and Nigel manage to earn four stars for the camp, before one of them narrowly misses out on a place in the final.

It comes after Josie reached the end of her tether with Nigel after he stopped her from doing a Bushtucker Trial during Friday’s episode.

Josie became camp leader by default after Danielle Harold’s departure and the This Morning presenter, 38, took her throne as JLS singer Marvin Humes, 38, broke news that the latest Bushtucker trial had a Christmas theme.

Former Big Brother winner Josie took the opportunity to do the trial but was slammed by former politician Nigel, 59, who insisted he had the experience needed to succeed after facing a number of challenges earlier in the series had entered into.

But Nigel’s argument did not go down well with Josie, who insisted he simply wanted to do another trial because he wanted more airtime and needed to ‘prove himself to the nation’.

After Marvin informed the group of the process, Josie said, “I’m going to do it. If you want me to do it, I will do it.”

Former boxer Tony Bellew (41) asked: ‘Are you going to be afraid of something coming your way? Because we need stars now?’

Josie said, “I’m afraid of it all… but you feel like you have to win stars and maybe I don’t have the minerals.”

Explaining the reasons why he wanted to go, Nigel said: ‘I did a lot of Bushtucker Trials in the early stages, you guys have now caught up. So it’s my turn. My turn, it’s that simple.’

Marvin said, “I like doing it.” Tony said, “I’m the same.”

Josie said: ‘I feel like I have to prove myself a little bit now.’

Nigel said, ‘Josie, that’s not necessary. You have to respond to this by saying that I’m not afraid of what they’re going to throw at me. If you can’t say… then you shouldn’t do it, I think.’

Josie replied: ‘I said I wanted to prove myself and you said, “You shouldn’t do it, you shouldn’t do it”.’

Nigel said: ‘You’re proving yourself by being here.’

Former Made In Chelsea cast member Sam Thompson, 31, said separately: “Josie, if you want to do it, do it.”

Josie said, “No, it’s okay. Let Nige do it, he wants the airtime.”

Writing in the Bush Telegraph, Josie said: ‘I should have fought for my corner a bit more but he wants the airtime because he wants to prove himself to the nation.’

It comes after Nigel previously admitted he wanted to take part in trials to receive 25 per cent of the show’s airtime.

Last month, before her departure, he told food critic Grace Dent, 50, of his plan to reach a “new audience.”

He explained: “If you do the challenges, it’s 25 percent of the airtime. I want to reach a whole new audience.’

Nigel looked disappointed as he waved off former campmate YouTuber Nella Rose, 26, to take part in the No Time To Cry trial after the public voted her in.

Then Ant and Dec joked about Nigel’s comment, saying: ‘We’ll be going into camp soon to reveal who gets 25 per cent of airtime tomorrow.’

I’m a celebrity…Get me out of here! continues Saturday December 9 at 9.30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
