A mum who was so proud of her beautifully toned legs said she shows them off at every opportunity – even if it means wearing heels to the supermarket.

Katarzyna Szumielewicz from Jedburgh, Scottish Borders transformed her look after falling in love with the gym eight years ago.

The swimming instructor is now more confident than ever and even wears a pair of high heels and a dress to go to Lidl so she can show off her hard-earned pins.

The bikini fitness competitor with toned calves noticed that people sometimes stare when she goes grocery shopping.

The 36-year-old said The sun: ‘My husband says that when we walk into the store, people look at us. When I wear a dress and high heels, people stare at me, but I don’t care.

‘I’m focused on myself and my shopping cart.’

The mom explained why she wears such glamorous shoes to perform everyday tasks, saying she likes how heels make her legs look “amazing.”

Unfazed by the opinions of others, the bikini competitor enjoys strutting her stuff after learning how to walk in heels during fitness competitions.

Bikini fitness also targets hamstrings and glutes, meaning Katarzyna has developed enviably toned legs.

Katarzyna’s two children, Martina and Jan, are also her biggest supporters and often tell her how great her looks are and how well she is doing.

“My daughter keeps telling me I look better than other moms at school,” she explained.

The swimming instructor believes it is especially important for young girls to know that you can follow your ambitions while having a family and a career.

Katarzyna has won several medals at bikini fitness events, thanks to her strict workout routine that sees her wake up at 4:30 a.m. to train, and she has gone from a size 12 to a tight size 6.

But it wasn’t all praise for the bikini competitor, as she has received her fair share of negative comments from strangers.

Katarzyna revealed that some people tell her she should eat more and that she looks exhausted, while others joked that she will look like a man if she lifts too heavy weights.

However, Katarzyna hit back, saying that even if she goes to the gym five times a week, she doesn’t look manly.
