Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, Princess Beatrice’s husband, has given a glimpse into the couple’s vacation in Jordan.

The 34-year-old daughter of the Duke of York and her husband were surprise guests at Crown Prince Hussein’s lavish wedding to Rajwa Al-Saif in Jordan yesterday.

The pair were in high spirits as they both attended the wedding ceremony at Zahran Palace before the black tie reception last night.

And Edoardo also offered a rare sneak peek of the couple’s journey on his Instagram yesterday, posting some snaps from their visit.

The father-of-two shared photos from a field trip to Petra, a famous archaeological site in Jordan’s southwestern desert.

Meanwhile, he also posted a picture of a camel on his Instagram page.

The pair appear to have enjoyed some sight-seeing during their trip to Jordan ahead of Crown Prince Hussein’s wedding.

While Beatrice doesn’t have a public social media account, Edo shared a series of snaps on his Instagram story.

The developer stuck to the brand and focused his shots on the beautiful architecture he encountered during the trip to the archaeological site.

He shared snaps of beautiful buildings and panoramic views of the archaeological site.

It is not known how long the couple will spend in Jordan, but it is believed that Princess Beatrice’s sister Eugenie will give birth in the next few days.

She first donned a £675 sequined lace dress, in twilight blue, from Needle & Thread.

She opted for a tighter silhouette with a black belt, which matched a dainty ribbon styled in her hair.

Elsewhere, her husband was smartly dressed in a navy single-breasted suit adorned with a cornflower blue tie.

The happy couple appeared in high spirits chatting as they walked to the ceremony.

Later, Beatrice changed her look for an evening reception hosted by the Jordanian royal family, opting for a pale pink embellished satin piqué dress with ruffled sleeves by designer Reem Acra, which she wore with the York tiara.

The choice of tiara was particularly important as it was given to her mother Sarah Ferguson for her wedding anniversary to Prince Andrew on July 23, 1986, and has not been worn in public for 20 years.

The accessory was made even more special by the fact that Princess Beatrice rarely wears tiaras, having only worn one before, for her wedding in July 2020.

In September, it was announced that Sandhurst graduate Hussein, 28, would marry Saudi Arabian-born architect Rajwa, also 28, after an engagement ceremony at the bride-to-be’s home in Riyadh.

The wedding reception began last night, with royals from around the world donning all their finery to attend the celebration, where the bride and groom cut their seven-tiered wedding cake.

Previously, guests watched the wedding of Hussein, a Sandhurst graduate, and Saudi Arabian-born architect Rajwa, also 28, in the garden of Zahran Palace.

Rajwa shone in a white dress by Lebanese designer Elie Saab, featuring a long train embroidered with flowers and a sparkling diamond tiara.

King Abdullah II and Queen Rania of Jordan proudly watched their son get married in an Islamic ceremony known as a “katb ktab,” held in a gazebo and officiated by the Royal Hashemite Court Imam Dr. Ahmed Al Khalileh.
