Instagram is offline! Thousands are reporting an outage with social media users saying they have been deleted from their accounts for the second time in two days
Meta’s Instagram is offline for the second day in a row, just over 24 hours after millions were locked out of accounts on the company’s social platforms.
DownDetector, a site that monitors online outages, reported thousands of complaints about the app in the US.
It is not yet known what caused the problem, but it has been 16 days since the social media platforms were taken offline due to an internal issue.
The issues were reported just before 7:00 PM ET, with users posting images of their accounts being inaccessible and “logged out.”
DailyMail.com has contacted an Instagram spokesperson for comment.
