Alaska Airlines has temporarily suspended operations of its 65 Boeing 737-9 aircraft after a terrifying mid-air incident resulted in a window and part of the fuselage being blown out. This incident necessitated an emergency landing in the US state of Oregon.

The incident happened minutes after takeoff and the gaping hole in the window depressurized the cabin. According to reports, the plane flew at 16,000 feet before returning to Portland International Airport. Alaska Airlines said in its notice that the flight landed safely with 174 passengers and six crew members.

The iPhone was found by Seanathan Bates who happened to be walking along Barnes Road. The phone was activated during the flight along with SOS mode. However, Alaska Airlines is still trying to find the window that fell out of the plane.
