MANCHESTER UNITED fans slammed the “terrible decision” to sell a highly rated prodigy.
19-year-old Isak Hansen-Aaroen completed a permanent transfer at Old Trafford on deadline day.
The Norway Under-21 international midfielder signed a contract with Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.
Hansen-Aaroen had just five months left on his Manchester United contract.
And while the Red Devils wanted to tie him down under a new package until 2028, they were unwilling to match his unrealistic wage demands through an extension.
It is understood that the deal with Werder Bremen includes a transfer fee plus possible extras.
There is also a resale fee included if and when Hansen-Aaroen leaves the Weserstadion.
And United will have the opportunity to match any bid that comes in.
Hansen-Aaroen joined United from boyhood club Tromso in 2020 amid much fanfare after making his senior debut at the age of 15.
However, he failed to break into the Red Devils' first team.

Erik ten Hag was willing to let him leave because he saw no clear path to his first selection in the short term – unlike his fellow teenagers Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo.
But supporters were less than impressed – and made their frustrated feelings known on Twitter.
One fan replied: “Terrible decision.”
Another angry: I can't get over selling him and Garner while McTominay keeps starting all the games. I can't wait for the DOF appointment so that guy reigns in these stupid decisions made to sell such good players.
A third added: “What is this club doing to lose such talents? Don't they remember what happened to Pogba? We'll end up buying them back for so much more.”
