Ishan Kishan trained at Kiran More Academy with Pandya Brothers

Baroda: There have been a lot of speculations about where Ishan Kishan is. After he took a break during the tour of South Africa, not many people were able to contact him and his whereabouts were also unknown for a long time. But now, according to a report on Cricbuzz, Kishan is training with the Pandya brothers at Kiran More Academy in Baroda. The left-handed batsman has been out of action on the international stage and also missed Ranji Trophy matches for his state. Kishan is not part of the Indian Test squad currently hosting England at home.

Not long ago, ahead of the Tests against England, India coach Rahul Dravid was asked about Kishan's chances, to which he said, “I just don't want to keep worrying about the Ishan Kishan point. When he is ready, I didn't say he should play domestic cricket, I said when he is ready… he should play some cricket and come back. The choice is his. We don't force him to do anything. We are in contact with him.

“We know what it is. He hasn't started playing yet, right? At this point it's not something we would think about. He may not be ready yet. He decides when he wants to be ready.” It is now clear that the earliest Ishan can play is the IPL in March-May.

It will now be interesting to see when Kishan will find his way back to the national team.
