James Haskell meets a mysterious woman at a VIP party after divorcing estranged wife Chloe Madeley
James Haskell was spotted with a mystery woman at the VIP launch of Gilgamesh on St Martin's Lane in London on Wednesday night, following his split from estranged wife Chloe Madeley.
The former rugby player, 38, and his ex-girlfriend, 36, who share daughter Bodhi, 17 months, announced their split in October 2023 after ten years together and five years of marriage.
During the boozy night out, James was surrounded by a host of women and got close to a brunette beauty.
After the launch party, a source said The sun: 'He is no stranger to receiving female attention and last night was no different.
“He spent part of the night talking to a mysterious lady at the bar.

James has come under a lot of fire in the past for sharing
'They seemed to get along really well and at times they seemed sociable. They whispered in each other's ears, laughed a lot and joked.'
James spent time with fellow DJ Julia Cameron, while the other woman he was chatting with wasn't tagged in the social media photos.
MailOnline has contacted James' representatives for comment.
James has often come under fire in the past for sharing X-rated photos, mocking Chloe on camera, socializing with other women and having a blast on boys' holidays.
And while he continues to make subtle comments to his estranged wife about her outfit choice, James was surrounded by scantily clad women last summer, while Chloe back in Britain was less than impressed.
The subtle dig is in stark contrast to his last sighting on The Jeremy Vine Show, where he gave a final update on their relationship.
When host Jeremy mentioned that Chloe had recently appeared on the show, he awkwardly joked: “I was about to say your wife, and then I thought, no ex-wife, or ex, how do you describe each other?”
“Well, technically she's still my wife,” James said as he confirmed that the couple still lives together and is co-parenting their daughter.

But last year James wanted Chloe to be referred to as his 'ex-wife'.
On his podcast World Cup Afterparty: The Good, The Bad and The Ugly, alongside Mike Tindall and Alex Payne, James set up an anecdote about his friend Mike, seemingly for the sole purpose of having another unsubtle pop at Chloe.
He began, “Mike's personality is, as Zara told us, “annoyingly honest Mike.” He sounds like a great person, but he isn't. He comes out after eight bottles of rosé and three bottles of red wine.
“Then he basically tells you everything you've ever done wrong and where you've gone wrong, with complete disregard for any sensitivity – or everything he's ever done wrong – and is also completely out of context. And he won't be argued with, and he won't be argued with, right.'
After a brief pause for dramatic effect, James continued, “Sounds like my wife, actually.”
He then corrected himself by saying, “Actually ex-wife,” before adding, “No. It's not official yet. Don't put that in the newspaper.'
But despite previous swipes, James appeared to have changed his tune as he gushed over Chloe during his chat with Jeremy.

He recalled seeing Chloe on the show while he stayed home to take care of Bodhi and said, “Listen, we're co-parenting, I still live at home.” I watched, I took care of Bodhi, full hands on co-parenting.
'But she was brilliant. Chloe is always fantastic. She is one of the best writers and has the ability to express points in the best way.
He added: “When she comes here, she's fantastic.”
Last week, Chloe admitted she's happier than ever, in a subtle swipe at James.
Chloe revealed on her Instagram Stories on Monday that she couldn't remember feeling 'so happy'.
During a Q&A with her followers, she shared a mirror selfie, looking stunning in a cropped denim shirt and matching shorts.
Her fan asked her, “Are you happy?” To which Chloe replied: 'I can't remember the last time I was this happy.'
She added, “I'm a very lucky girl and I know I am and I'm beyond grateful.”
During another fan Q&A on Sunday, Chloe spoke about happiness again with a cryptic post.

As he continues to make subtle comments to his estranged wife about her choice of outfit, James was surrounded by scantily clad women last summer, while Chloe was back in Britain and less than impressed.
Chloe was asked: 'The best advice for being happy?' and replied, “Just be nice to people and you will feel so much better about yourself and your life.”
'I recently learned that fighting fire with fire does indeed give you a burning sensation.
“Surround yourself with people who impress you with their kindness and want to pay you back, and move forward.”
She previously emphasized that the breakup is “a very positive decision” and that she “just felt a lot lighter” since it happened.
