Fit and fabulous at 54: Jennifer Aniston emerges from her new favorite workout class… after revealing that she ‘broke’ her body from working out too hard during her younger years

Jennifer Aniston was the epitome of fitness when she was spotted training in Los Angeles this week.

The 54-year-old Friends icon slipped into a pair of tight black leggings that emphasized her enviably muscular physique.

She donned a tank top promoting Stand Up To Cancer, the biannual star-studded fundraiser she’s previously participated in.

Her caramel blonde locks, made world famous by her “Rachel” haircut on Friends, fluttered freely in the wind.

During the sweltering summer day, she threw her red sweater over one arm and deflected the throbbing rays with some blue-tinted shades.

Jennifer’s latest sighting comes after she unveiled her new collaboration with Pvolve, a fitness brand also favored by the likes of Olivia Culpo and Devon Windsor.

Jennifer, now in her 50s, enjoys Pvolve for the lower impact exercises it offers her after years of overexerting herself.

“I used to get up god knows how many hours before work I had to do an hour of cardio – I thought it was supposed to hurt or we should feel like we were going to pass out, but that’s the wrong message,” she shared Well + Good.

However, Pvolve has given her “incredible results, if not better than anything I’ve ever done before without the pain and injury,” she said.

In another recent interview, Jennifer candidly confessed that she’s suffered several injuries over the years as a result of her grueling fitness regimen.

“If you think, “I have to do 45 minutes of cardio or I won’t get a good workout,” it’s disheartening. I’ve believed it for so long. I just burned out and broke my body,” the Horrible Bosses bombshell said In style.

“My physical therapist gave me a Barbie doll that’s covered in kinesio tape,” she revealed, “to show every injury I’ve had in the last 15 years.”

Jennifer once suffered “knee injuries and going up and down stairs has always been a pain for me,” but now with Pvolve “I’ve noticed definition in parts of my body I’ve never seen before, especially in my abs and legs .’

She insisted, “I don’t weigh myself, but when I go to the doctor for my physical, my body fat is lower than ever and I weigh more than I’ve ever weighed, so it just shows you that you’re really working layers and layers of muscles that have been ignored forever.”

The Cake star claimed that Pvolve “isn’t intimidating, and I’m not afraid of it — I’m looking forward to it. It’s so good and kind to the body.’

Pvolve allows her to “beat the monotony of yourself on a treadmill for 45 minutes” and “[a]After a workout I don’t feel insanely tired or broken or in pain.”
