Jennifer Lawrence masks herself because of ‘unhealthy’ air quality in New York City

Jennifer Lawrence showed off her casual summer style on Saturday, donning a black mask amid concerns about New York City’s “unhealthy” air quality.

The No Hard Feelings actress, 32, who recently dressed to impress while attending a friend’s wedding at the courthouse, donned loose-fitting, green cargo pants tied with a black belt around her waist.

The mother of one of the two also wore a fitted black top and paired the look with a blue button that was unfastened to help her stay cool in the warmer temperatures.

She added a $35 brown Ralph Lauren cap on top of her head that partially covered her locks, which were pulled back into a simple ponytail.

The Oscar winner slipped into a pair of black and white Adidas sneakers to stay comfortable as she walked around town and held her phone in her hand instead of carrying a heavy bag.

Jennifer completed her look by donning a pair of ear plugs and a face mask due to the recent poor air quality.

According to the New York daily newssmoke from the Canadian wildfires once again spread to the Big Apple and caused an ‘unhealthy’ air quality.

On Friday, the city became the “second worst air quality in the world,” the publication reported.

The star’s brief outing comes shortly after she opened up about her relationship with husband, Cooke Maroney, who she tied the knot with in 2019 and also shares a year-old son, Cy.

The premise follows an Uber driver (Lawrence) who goes bankrupt and responds to a Craigslist ad to date a parent’s (Feldman) 19-year-old son before going to college in exchange for a car.

While recalling her time filming the movie, she also told Interview Magazine that the experience “was amazing” adding, “I’ve always wanted to do comedy and I’ve been asked a million times.”

“I was never against it, but you’ve seen the movies that come out. I don’t want to mention anything specific, but there hasn’t been anything funny like this.’

She later said, “I felt a unique sadness as I wrapped this one because it’s so nice when you feel so confident while shooting a movie…” and gushed about the “chemistry between the cast and crew”.
