Jennifer Lopez announced her new tour on Thursday morning.

Speaking on the Today show, the siren said she was busy with her This Is Me… Now tour, which kicks off in June and ends on August 31.

It's in support of her new album, film and documentary inspired by her love for new husband Ben Affleck.

She will visit more than 30 cities in North America, it added, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, Boston and New York City.

It will be her first tour in twelve years and her last studio album was 2014's AKA

Tickets are available from the JLo Fan Club presale starting on Tuesday, February 20 at 9:00 AM local time.

This comes days after she hinted a tour could be in the cards.

She said earlier this week that she believed that her upcoming record is well 'suited' for a 'live experience'.

She told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1: “I kept telling my team, 'You have to understand that I'm going to perform these songs. I'm going to bring them to life on stage, and I have to do that.' lying in the ground. We have to dig.”

“And they understood and gave it to me.

'I really want [tour]. I believe there is nothing better suited to being live and having a live experience than this record.

“I don't have an official 'this is it now,' but I really want to get out there and definitely perform this music.”

Jennifer's last major run of shows was her 'It's My Party Tour' in 2019, when she played gigs in the US, Canada, Israel, Russia, Turkey, Spain and Egypt.

“We did a bunch of different album covers. We try to do things that are really special for the fans and collectibles and things like that that they can have forever and ever.

“The truth is, I don't even know if I'll ever make another album after this.

'It's such a typical Jennifer Lopez J.Lo project and I feel really fulfilled.

Asked if this is her last studio collection, she said: 'Don't tell Benny [Medina, manager and collaborator] that's what i think.

'This might be my last album ever.'

She further explained, “I feel like this is the end of kind of an era for me and the beginning of a new era, so I would never say never, but right now I feel like I really put my heart into this and soul into it and I'm very excited and it's certainly taken a lot out of me.'

'This Is Me… Now' is a sequel to 2002's 'This Is Me… Then'.
