Dame Joan Collins rings in the new year in furtastic form. The 90-year-old Dynasty legend posed for an Instagram photo wearing a faux fur hat, studded cream gloves and a matching jacket, plus her signature red lipstick. She captioned the image: “Honey it’s cold outside! Actually it’s 52 degrees!’

Dame Joan, ambassador for high street giant M&S, also shared a simple tip with those hosting an end-of-year party tonight: ‘Don’t invite boring people!’

Meanwhile, fellow M&S ambassador, model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, says this season is all about the sartorial activity.

Rosie, 36, partner of action movie star Jason Statham, with whom she has two children, insists that you should say goodbye to 2023 in “a well-tailored dress or suit, great diamonds and sexy heels.”

She definitely forgot to mention the most important accessory: a glass of bubbly!

Layton waltzes into a new job

Good to see Strictly Come Dancing finalist Layton Williams putting his expertise to good use: he’s just been hired by a dance company to teach.

Layton, 29, has starred in West End musicals Billy Elliot and Everybody’s Talking About Jamie, prompting some fans to call his inclusion in Strictly ‘dishonest’.

Layton’s Strictly partner Nikita Kuzmin hit back at online trolls, labeling them ‘sad’.

Now Layton is teaming up with dance company Move It at the ExCel center in East London in March to deliver masterclasses such as Musical Theater Extravaganza and Pros From The Shows.
